I built this radio several years ago based on the work of ZL2CTM. Recently with no time to solder stuff from scratch I have resorted to fixing things that worked but not how I liked them to. This was one of those.

I added a 100 tap point Hlibert +45, -45 coefficient 2.7 kHz wide filter and added modem transformers to provide noise isolation.

I have made about a dozen contacts so far running 5 watts and the best DX is Washington state, about 1000 miles. Signal reports say nice sounding signal, but not too strong.

This was the 1st prototype.
