In this video I show 3 techniques for scrubbing through your animation. They're all useful in their own way, so it's good to know about them all.
Here's the alternative scrub options I cover in this video:
00:30 1. Scrubbing along the Xsheet/Timeline
01:33 2. Using the 'Scrub Bar'
02:35 3. Scrubbing using the mouse wheel:
Hovering over the viewer controls:
- (1 frame at a time, within play markers)
- Shift + Ctrl + Mouse Wheel: Scrub 1 frame at a time
- Shift + Alt + Mouse Wheel: Scrub 1 drawing at a time (skipping duplicate frames)
04:05 Hovering over the scrub bar controls:
- Mouse Wheel only: Moves 2 frames at a time, outside play markers
- Shift or Ctrl + Mouse Wheel: Moves an adjustable amount of frames (set in prefs: XSheet, Next/Previous Step Frames)
- Alt: Reverses the scrub direction.
