Using alpha lock with MyPaint brushes to paint within the lines - In OpenToonz & Tahoma2D  @DarrenTAnims

Here's how you can use the alpha lock option in the MyPaint raster brushes to paint ONLY where you've previously painted.

And this is one way to have your lines and colour on different levels.

NEW: Also, when you've got a MyPaint raster brush selected (on a standard raster level only), there's a tickbox option on the options toolbar, to turn on the alpha and erase options of the brush.
That's a handy shortcut. Thanks to Rodney for sharing that.
