Just a quick one today hiking around a new area in search of the perfect place to establish a permanent camp. I've had plans for awhile now to build an elaborate camp with a permanent shelter and this marks the official beginning of that project. After a few hours of hiking I got into a really nice area that has a lot of potential and it very well may be the winner. I have a few more places I want to check out before I make my final decision but this area is quite promising.
This trip did give me more field-time to test the new bedroll carrier and shoulder bag. Let me know if anyone would be interested in a video specific to my thoughts on the system.
