Scornflakes were a self described Post-Metal-Jazz experimental outfit from Trenton, NJ in the early-mid 80s. Released on Bird 'O Pray records who would later be known for releasing the early Pre-GWS ween tapes, Scornflakes were formed out of the ashes of of New Wave group Regressive Aid. Scornflakes' members would collaborate with many other BOP artists, their bassist Andrew would go on to be a member of Ween for many years!
This tape, later released in a slightly truncated form on Vinyl as "Scorn in the USA" has circulated around for years in inferior forms, until recently our heroic friend Doug Yuck who you can find on his own channel linked below has provided me with this pristine rip of his own copy! Never before has this tape been heard in such fine clarity! Go pay him a visit below and listen to his new rip of Stevie's 1977 epic Swing and a Miss!
