This looks like an eye symbol but it is not.
In the source this is the symbol for feel/touch, which is quickly related to hand. It's that guy.
It makes sense because the symbol for nondescript object is just a circle, so something that deals with objects would clearly have the relation in the symbol.
The one for Eye is basically the same thing but with a vertical line instead of a circle.
And my own is 3 dots in a triangle pattern.
These are sight/see and taste respectively.
I think three dots fits the concept of taste well enough.
And it reinforces the whole trio thing.
There is one for hearing and smelling but they're a teeny bit more complex so I'm not gonna describe them.
