Theme : Battle Song, Almost Spooky but not really
Motifs : None, unless I make this a shadow one
Made by Catzen
This is... Almost a smile. It's meant to be "almost" a smile.
This is the god that inspired the Nightsmith.
Wait... No, that's backwards, this god was INSPIRED BY the Nightsmith.
It liked the idea of a forge, and thought it looked similar enough to a certain type of knight's helmet that it might look cool as a head.
This one is more... It's more something... I don't know how to describe that. It's just more.
Again, I don't recall the identities of the challengers here, but I feel the exact same feeling of familiarity and, well, deja vu here. Though... I don't think it's my own memory that is shadowed onto my mind in that weird way that deja vu works.
Let us consider the darkness- if at this point it would even technically be called that- which goes beyond dark and seemingly starts to glow.
I've seen this explored before, in many ways, and I have my favorite stories that use this trope, but negative light is always a fun idea.
You probably wouldn't be able to see the people here without a little of my photo editing magic.
I don't think I have the mind to explain negative light right now, though. Simply darker than dark.
Now, if this would go how you would probably hope if you were watching this, there would be consequences.
Light would reign supreme.
And with nothing keeping the world together and blocking light from outside, the Moon could make the move it has been waiting to make for quite some time.

![lighter than air
Theme : Atmospheric, idk how else to describe it
Motifs : Windsong

i have begun a process which will change a plethora of things over the course of a week and a half
i have to leave it that vague, for personal reasons, and also because very little of it would make enough sense to warrant including here.
they long ago decided not to require me to sign my name in blood anymore, but a red pen was still requested to remain polite.
see, that wouldnt make sense. youre already concerned about me having to sign my name in blood (this is a real thing by the way not something im making up for the song description) and then theres the whole preexisting situation with my blood to begin with. i mean that would be hard to write with i imagine.
but this is to alter things that have been messing with me for a while. from small details about me specifically to fundamental pieces of [i once again want to say reality to simplify it in the way i conceptualize it. its more complicated than that and would make more sense if an expert (not me) explained it]
saying alter here is also important. nothing is getting much better or worse, just changing. there is a small chance i come out of this with the ability to enjoy raw tomatoes without immediately puking, for an example of how strangely mundane some of these changes are. but some changes are much bigger and harder to come up with examples for because i dont know how that works even a little bit.
one might say that
the world will never be the same.
of course, there are reasons i specifically am in a weird contract that allows me to do confusing things like this. thats something i could get into some other time, but for now, just enjoy the sounds of a machine which no longer makes the sounds i have used in this song.
without its hum, the windchimes are so much more audible, though. as much as i miss the constant little bit of background whirring and humming, the ability to hear the wind in the trees and the vibrant tones of the chimes through multiple walls that dampen the sound is preferred.
as well as, on some nights, the silence. the pure, pure, silence. it is the first time i have heard my head clear in a while, and when the wind picks up again, it is a welcome addition.
well, i think this has gone on long enough. if you have actually read this entire thing, you have no doubt listened to the song a couple times while doing so.
did you feel the time passing through it faster, to be lost and return just now? did you feel, even if only for a moment, lighter than the air? lighter than air](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/l6ZwOBUKBcQ/mqdefault.jpg)
