It’s a reflection on a moment when listening stopped being analytical and became something more present and immersive.

While spending time with Scarlatti Alla Scarlatti by organist Livia Mazzanti, there was a point where the sound, the space, and the music aligned so completely that evaluation fell away. I wasn’t thinking about the recording anymore — I was simply there with it.
