A new scam warning is being issued across Wyoming County, with officials urging developers, contractors and homeowners to be cautious when receiving unexpected calls or messages about their properties.

Wyoming County District Attorney Joe Peters said scammers are targeting people with demands for immediate payments, fines or fees, often using tactics designed to make the messages appear legitimate.
