Shuusou Gyoku (秋霜玉) was the first game in the Seihou Project (西方) series, released in 2000 by Amusement Makers. It had 20 MIDI tracks by ZUN (of Touhou Project fame) for the Roland SC-88Pro Sound Canvas hardware module. It's most famous for its extra stage, set in Gensokyo, where Marisa Kirisame and Reimu Hakurei appear as bosses.

Originally, this was going to be a space stage, hence the name. By the way, the "宙" character is read "sora" (like sky) here. 'Cos I really want it to have an Eastern feel.

This is the third stage theme.

Personally, this feels like something I don't usually write. I thought it would be nice if it had a kind of endless atmosphere while I was writing it, but...

And it's unusual for me to write an unusual pop theme, so this is a very unusual song. I think it's nice for games to have a particular accent to them ...

But, is this really pop? (lol)

当初の予定で、３面は宇宙面だったので、そんな名前。ちなみ「宙」は「そら」と読みます。やや、東洋気味にいきたかったので。

３面テーマです。

なんていうか、自分的に珍しい曲かも。 はてしない雰囲気でも出ればいいかね、とか考えて創ったのですが。

珍しくポップな雰囲気が珍しくて、珍しいです。 ゲームとしてはアクセントとなっていいかと思ってますが。

でも、ポップか？（笑）
