In this video I’m sharing how I’m personally using a 15 mg Mounjaro pen, but taking a much smaller weekly dose (3.75 mg) as part of my own, doctor-approved plan.
A lot of you have asked whether it makes sense to buy a higher-strength pen and use a lower dose instead – mainly because of cost, waste and long-term affordability.
So in this video I talk honestly about:
• why I’m staying on a lower dose
• how I decided on 3.75 mg with my prescriber
• the pros & cons of using a higher-strength pen for smaller doses
• what I’ve personally noticed during my journey so far
⚠️ Important note
This video is for my personal experience only. I’m not showing how to extract, split or measure doses, and I’m not giving medical advice. Mounjaro is a prescription medication and dosing should always be discussed with your prescriber.
If you’re on your own Mounjaro journey, I hope this helps you think through the real-world side of cost vs dose – especially if you’re planning to stay on treatment longer term.
💬 Let me know in the comments what dose you’re currently on and what topics you’d like me to cover next.
