As part of the ongoing Warner corporate shakeups, the main staff of TCM has been ousted leading everyone to now question the future of the network which remains the one major outlet for classic films to the general public. I can’t help but remember the slow destruction of AMC which was destroyed by various owners in the late 90’s.
I recorded this before a new statement was added to the mix but I think our fears are still justified given how these Warner shakeups and shuttering of departments has gone.
