Did you know you can change the prefab mode background color in Unity?
I kept modifying prefabs and pressing Play without saving — completely wasting time. With this simple setting change, you'll always know when you're in prefab mode and never make that mistake again.
How to do it:

Open a prefab to enter prefab mode
Go to Edit → Preferences → Colors
Find "Background for Prefabs" and change it to something that stands out

That's it! One setting, huge quality of life improvement.
