A toddler's broken english can be hilarious, and adorable, but sometimes my daughter says something that makes me stop and realize that it is a HUGE deal for her to be able to comunicate what she is feeling in words.
I had my 2 year old daughter Paisley watch a video of my RC truck falling off a cliff, I was so blown away by her emotional reaction to the poor car going tumbling to it's certain doom that I simply had to post a video that included her reactions. Paisley knows the car pretty well, and always trys to help me work on it, and demands her turn when I use it in the back yard. I knew she would recognize the car, but had no idea she was so emotionally attached to it. I love my daughter dearly, and I never want her to cry... but when grown-ups watch a movie, it's okay to cry durring dramatic scenes where our beloved characters almost certainly fall to their demise and then rise again triumphantly to continue their grand adventure... right? She must have enjoyed the movie because at the end she asked to watch it again.
My goal was to tell a short narrative and make people feel something about the little RC Truck... The video succeeded, at least for my daughter. I can't watch the video of her any more though because I can't see that little face well up with tears :(
