Mamby becomes the only man not called Duran to stop De Jesus. A scrappy but competitive fight in the early going, this really heats up in the later stages, as the Puerto Rican great bounces right hands off Mamby's head in an attempt to claw his way back into the contest, and the crafty champion has to put everything together to overwhelm the former lightweight champ' and get him out of there. Look for Mamby's excellent left hand late on.
