Fourth studio album released by austrian Goth Rock band Sanguis Et Cinis, under the German label Trisol, specialized in Gothic, Electro/EBM, Industrial, Dark Folk or J-Rock music.

Unlike their previous album, "Madrigal", and the band's other albums, the songs here have been arranged a bit louder and more direct, making "Amnesia" incredibly danceable and energetic, quickly drawing the listener in. "Atlantis-Babylon", the title track, and "Secret & Sin" deserve special mention. Mr. Kramm's powerful production gives the songs a transparent and captivating sound, further enhancing their appeal. The libretto also appears considerably more cohesive than that of "Madrigal", making it more thoughtful. Overall, the austrians now sound like a unit, and even the most attentive critic shouldn't find much to complain about in Celine's voice. A truly accomplished album, especially worth checking out for those new to Sanguis Et Cinis and those who have previously avoided them.
