Hey everyone! I love this pattern I'm showing you guys in this video. It's called sandstorm and it has easy cables that look amazing. I can see this being a handbag, which I'm thinking about making, let me know what you guys think about that. Hope you guys enjoy this one.

Clover Bamboo Straight Needles size 9 (5.5mm)
Caron Simply Soft Yarn in Orchid
Cable Needle

Instructions:
Cast on multiples of 12 sts + 6 sts
Rows 1 & 5 (rightside): Knit
Row 2 and all even rows: Purl
Row 3: *Cable 6 Front (slip next 3 sts onto cn, hold front, K3 from left needle, K3 from cn), K6; rep from * to last 6 sts, Cable 6 Front
Row 7: *K6, Cable 6 Back (slip next 3 sts onto cn, hold back, K3 from left needle, K3 from cn); rep from * to last 6 sts, K6

Repeat Rows 1 through 8 to form pattern.

I couldnt resist this as a title. Sounds like an organization. But its really a good tip. I started thinking if there was something I could do with all these yarn tails I was throwing away. A multicolored tassel just sounds too cute. Ive been saving my tails for a while and never realized how many I accumulated. When I have enough I am for sure using it for a scarf tassel. Items: Clover Bamboo 16 Circular Needle size 5 (3.75mm) Random 4ply yarn about 5oz (wool blend) Buttons Scissors Sewing Needle & Thread Tapestry Needle Size: 6-9 Months Measurements: 18 around 7.5 tall Gauge: 20 sts and 24 rows = 4 in st st. Instructions: Earflap: (worked in garter stitch; knit every row) Cast on 6 sts Mark this row as the front. We will use this later on. Row 1: Knit Row 2: *K1f&b, K to last st, K1f&b Repeat Rows 1 & 2 until you have 12 sts. Work garter stitch until your piece measures 3. Front Flap: Cast on 21 sts Work garter stitch for 2 1/4. Repeat Steps for 2nd earflap as you did the 1st. Now cast on 23 sts, I used the invisible cast on but you can use whatever knit on cast on method you like. Knit across your 12 earflap stitches. I also have a cool tip to add to working this stitch, that might help a lot of people. This stitch tends to get tight and is hard to work when that happens. Using two different needle sizes helps.
