Spindle sanders are the best way to clean up curves. There are times where they just don't work as things are too large, cumbersome or long. A cove, for example, can rarely, if ever, be cleaned up with a spindle sander. But we can make an incredibly simple hand sander out of a simple piece of PVC pipe. I think you'll be amazed by how much power these are!
