Sandia is committed to subcontracting with local small businesses. They contribute to our mission success, promote innovation, and help build the local and regional economies. More than $317 million in Sandia procurements went to New Mexico small businesses in FY18. Our overall small business goal will rise by 2% every year, up to 60% by FY22. Sandia actively seeks capable companies including small disadvantaged, woman-owned, historically underutilized business zone, veteran-owned, and service-disabled veteran-owned businesses to support the Labs’ missions. Small companies are responsive, flexible, and competitive, and make excellent business partners.
