From Brazil comes Sanctifier, a death metal band that has been active since 1989 (!!!) and never stopped releasing music between line-up and name changes. "Pact with the Evil" was their second demo as "Sanctifier".
The first track is specially noisy, seriously, it might really hurt your ears. It softens afterwards but oof that's an easy way of turning people away from this demo. If you're able to sit through that (or if you skip it, it's up to you) you'll find that traditional brazilian sound - some Sarcófago, some Holocausto, some Krisiun.

![Scorcht Earth - Demo 1990 [Full Demo - 1990]
Scorcht Earth were an American thrash metal band. Not much is known about the band, they released at least 4 demos, only one of which is registred to Metal Archives.
2 of the tracks in this demo can be found in their self-titled one. As for the other 2 untitled tracks, I didnt recognize them from anything else ive heard from them, but I also dont have all of their material, so if anyone knows drop their names in the comments!
Super straighfoward and downtuned thrash metal, more aggressive than your average 90s thrash if you ask me. Must have been some kind of Demolition Hammer or Overthrow influence that lead them to this vein. The vocals remind me of Exhorder perhaps. Overall a really good thrash demo, even if more for completionists or thrash affictionados.

00:00 - Untitled Track 1
03:33 - Untitled Track 2
06:49 - Operation Barbarossa
09:42 - Gimme Some Skull

![Slesk - Moulding Horror [Full Demo - 1990]
Slesk were a death/grind band from Norway. The band formed in 1988 and only released 2 demos, this one being their debut.
Moulding Horror is stupidly straight to the point. No down time, no pauses, not gimmicks - just riff, riff and more riff. There might be a slight gore tinge to their music too? Im insure since it was still fermenting in the crypts of Britain with Carcass. Either way: it fast, it gross, it nasty, it grind, it good. Small brain shit, make your head split.

![Wotan - Inner Monstrosity [Full Demo - 1993]
Wotan were an Italian death metal band. When they formed in 1987, the band played something closer to speed metal (even labeled Epic Speed Metal in Metal Archives), but as band members and years went by, they ended up with this sick death metal style. In 6 years, the band released 6 demos, their last one being in 1993.
Inner Monstrosity gives it all on the title - this demo is a fucking beast. Intro and outro aside, they never go slower than a mid-pace (and mid-pace for this demos standards is still on the speedy side). Pure aggression and a lot of shredding, drums that feel like a punch to the gut and a devastating whirlwind of riffs.

05:38 - Spiral of Suffering

![Voidd - Premontary Inscription [Full Demo - 1990]
Premontary Inscription is Voidds debut demo. Death/thrash straight from Japan! And man, I love japanese metal, those guys are the best, god damn. They always bring a unique vibe to whatever they touch.
In tracks like Black Fate or Total Mayhem speed is the name of the game, while in Betrayer they go for a more mid-pace approach, slow and heavy. And then, to top it all off, a sick ass Sodom cover... Good fucken demo.
Lastly, apologies for the volume, its not a very loud demo and I know less about audio editing than video editing (and I dont know much about video editing)
Tracklist:

![Pulverized Necrobrains - Totally Pulverized [Full Demo - 2022]
Totally Pulverized is the debut encoffination by Pulverized Necrobrains, a death metal band from Colorado, USA.
When I first found this demo I admit I was expecting your general murky, gross and low-tuned sewer death metal. The intro went by, then the first riff came - I still expected the same. But fucking hell when their second riff hit I was dumbfounded. This 3-piece band is doing fucking Demilich worship - for those of you that dont know, Demilich is easily in my top 5 death metal bands of all time. Of course I would love this demo! I cherish all Demilich worship i get in my hands, these lads even got the guitar and bass tones pretty much right, all they miss is the true frog vocals (but cmon I dont think anyone will ever top Bomans, so Im not even complaining).
Oh, and what was that in the last track? A disEMBOWELMENT passage? Did I hear that right?
Fucking hell these dudes just show so much potential. Someone please get them a place for them to record a debut album already and it might just make it into my top 5 of the yeah when it releases.

![Floridian Hippies - Fuel Injected [Full EP - 2022]
Floridian Hippies are back with another hard hippie hitter, straight outta Finland. Fuel Injected is 12 minutes of rotted weed and Californian sewer waste, merged with an undeniable Finnish influence.
There is as much Autopsy as there is Convulse, as much Impetigo as there is early Xysma. I even dare to say I heard a bit Demilich in some passages.
Personally, this band is all I like in death metal and some more. Even if they dont stray from the usual modern low tuned and grimy style, Floridian Hippies managed to deliver a fresh sound that mixes influences that surprisingly are rarely seen together. Merging that with their unique hippie theme and aesthetic... It couldnt ever go wrong.

00:00 - Fuel Injected

![Augmentation - The Dead [Full Demo - 1990]
Augmentation were an American crossover thrash band. There isnt much information about them out there, I only know theyre from Chicago because its written on the tape. According to discogs, this was their only release.
The Dead is just moshing music. Its not very deep, it barely has diversity and sounds like anyone couldve written it - but what it lacks in those aspects, it compensates with attitude! And thats what matters when all you want is to mosh around with a beer in your hand.

![Myosotis - Manyways [Full Demo - 1996]
Myosis, from the Netherlands, were a 5-piece death metal band. During their active period, this demo was the only thing they officially recorded.
This demo is mostly mid-tempo, but I think they really ace the faster bits. They take some hints of Death/Autopsy and mix them with maybe Depravity? Baphomet? Something around those lines...
Man, I hate that Ive been listening to death metal for so many years now and Im still terrible at properly remembering/identifying similarly sounding bands unless its like Death, Autopsy, Asphyx or Incantation....

![Grey - Suspended in Time [Full Demo - 1996]
Grey were an American brutal death metal band that sung about... Aliens! For those who dont know, a grey is that sterotypical, slender, big headed alien we all know of - but instead of green, theyre grey. The band formed in 1996 and apparently this was their only release.
The cover art really is something, I almost find it funny how they used wingdings for the symbols. Anyway, as silly as the bands image might look, the music is actually pretty damn good. Unfortunately, track 2 cuts off abruptly and I was never able to find the full version of that song, but I really liked Greys demo so I decided to upload it anyway.

![Disbelief - Promotion Tape [Full Demo - 1992]
Disbelief are a German death/thrash/sludge metal band. Formed in 1990, the band has released 4 demos, 1 EP, 1 split and a whopping 10 LPs, their last one being released in 2020. Throughout the long run time of the band, a lot of class act names have beein through their line-up, such as Cornelius Althammer from Ahab, Karsten Jäger from Morgoth or Wolfgang Rothbauer from... a bunch of great bands actually, among many other.
It is true that right now the band does play a super sludgy style of deathrash, but at their very inception Disbelief were straight up death metal, a very bone grinding death metal band. They do hint at some of their later material with moments like the clear vocals in Blackness, but other than that its just non-stop riff. It is a fact that I love their sludge debut, but god damn I wouldnt have minded a single bit if they kept the energy they had on this promo tape.

![Estropia - Demo 91 [Full Demo - 1991]
Estropia were a Swiss death/thrash metal band and this demo is their only known output.
Thrashy through and through, you can expect a non-stop barrage of riff after riff. Undeniably influenced by Pestilence and showing touches of Merciless and that early 90s french death/thrash style of Massacra, Agressor or Loudblast, if death/thrash is your thing you CANT sleep on this one!
