Porter Reserve on the Embraer 195-E2 is essentially "business class lite." Although the seat itself is exactly the same as the ones back in basic economy, the extra legroom and 6 inches of extra seat recline makes all the difference. Free food (and alcohol) is a nice perk as well.

This video is a detailed summary of my experience in seat 3A on Porter Airlines flight number 682 from San Diego to Toronto.

Total flying time was 3 hours and 59 minutes, and the aircraft registration was C-GZQV.
