Hi all,
Just a 1st impressions of this fine flake form Samuel Gawith. Navy flake is a top quality tobacco that will leave you wanting more when finished. A smooth yet mild Latakia with sweet Virginias that coalesce with the rum topping. A lovely mix and the rum only really shining more on the retro hail.
Great tin note and leaves a clean white ash when the bowl is finished. My only critique thus far is, it’s a little damp when fresh and needs some dry time to help the lighting of the flake.
Hermit piper Tim also had a review on it which I found informative. He also has experience with the blend where mine is just a 1st impression.
