Who Remembers eating at this place back in the day? The name is not racist as it turns out. The owner's names were Sam Battistone Sr. and Newell Bohnett, hence, SamBo. Sure, they leaned into the Little Black Sambo concept and doomed themselves once racism went out of fashion... can you even imagine a day when it wasn't?
