Samajavaragamana Dance, Indian classical dance cover of IndianRaga’s contemporary style production of the Tyagaraja Krithi in Hindolam raga, Adi talam. Lacing the dance with high and low energy points, Nikita Nambiar, Pooja Iyer (also Choreographers) and Kavana P. Kumar use Karanas, i.e. the three elements of hasta (dance movement of the hands), sthaana (a dance posture for the body) and a chaari (a dance movement of the leg), which forms the basis of Bharatanatyam adavus, with slow-paced steps to juxtapose the fast pace of the EDM.
The dance is an ode to the omnipresent god described thus, “: O Lord, with the ""vara"" majestic gait ""gamana"" of a large elephant ""samaja""! O effulgent sun who causes the hearts ""hrut"" of devotees ""saadhu"" to blossom like the lotus ""saarasaabja""! Lord, your fame ""vikhyaata"" transcends time ""kaalalitha""!
