Sisterhood: The Khamaj Connection", showcases a sibling bond and how although two sisters are put in situations where they cannot communicate, it is possible to grow through those periods and rekindle a strong relationship later on. In the beginning of the piece, the dancers demonstrate synchronized movements, depicting the sisters interacting as children, plucking flowers, making hair garlands, and helping one another with homework. As time progresses, the elder sibling leaves home, leaving the younger sibling distraught, and both siblings struggle being away from each other. When the older sister finally comes home and surprises the younger sister, they experience the joy of reconnection.
