GUIDE:
After defeating the Herald of Finality in the previous encounter of Salvation's Edge in Destiny 2, you'll need to navigate some platforming before reaching the third encounter. The upcoming encounter, Repository, is akin to the third encounter of Vow of the Disciple, presenting a chaotic gauntlet challenge.
Similar to the first encounter of Salvation's Edge, there isn't a boss fight here. Instead, you'll face a series of puzzles and add clearing tasks. Equip weapons that are effective for clearing adds and have good range, as Scorpious Turrets can quickly lead to a wipe if you're not cautious. Adjust your loadout to counter Unstoppable Champions as well.
This encounter is spread across three floors. To open the door to the next room, you must use the plates to generate Resonance, close the conduits, and then deposit the Resonance into the chest. You will encounter three different shapes for Resonance: triangles and circles from the second encounter, and now Square Resonance (also known as Hexahedron Resonance). There are three sets of connected plates, so divide your raid into three groups of two.
At the beginning of the encounter, each team needs to kill a Tormentor. Be mindful of who lands the final blow, as that player will receive the Stolen Favor buff from the second encounter. Killing the Tormentors will activate the plates, but don't let your guard down. Shortly after the Tormentors are defeated, several Scorpious Turrets will spawn throughout the room, posing a deadly threat if players are caught off guard.
Once the threat is neutralized, you can start bouncing the beam of light between the plates. Timing is crucial; any mistakes will spawn a Subjugator, wasting valuable time. After everyone has accumulated enough stacks of the Resonance buff, it will be time to shoot and close the conduits. Pay close attention to the type of Resonance needed to close the conduit.
Players with the Stolen Favor buff will be able to see the required Resonance type. Ideally, each side will have a player with the Stolen Favor buff. If not, a player with the buff will need to assist another team's conduit by identifying the required Resonance. Once all conduits are closed, a glowing chest will appear. Deposit your stacks of the Resonance buff into this chest, and a group of adds, along with an Unstoppable Champion, will spawn. Quickly eliminate these adds to open the door behind them, allowing you to advance to the next floor.
On the second floor, be mindful of your positioning when fighting Tormentors, as their jump and dive attacks can easily knock you off the edge to your death. The mechanics on the second and third floors are similar to those on the first floor, but the lines connecting the plates will begin to cross, requiring more awareness of plate locations and connections. Apart from this, the mechanics remain the same.
