Complete a Gold Cup Battleplex Challenge.
Gold Challenges unlock only after completing the ninth and final planet, Viceron. Following this, the storyline leads you back to the Battleplex arena located on the third planet, Scarstu Debris Field. Here, you can attempt any unfinished Challenges, including the Gold Challenges. These can be tackled on the easiest difficulty setting, which you can adjust at any time through the game settings. To make the process smoother, consider fully upgrading your preferred weapons for increased damage output and a larger ammo capacity. Should you run out of ammo, you can use your melee weapon by pressing L2 + Square. Overall, this segment is fairly straightforward—you just need to defeat several waves of enemies.
