Last week, I shared an art session where none of the work went as planned. This wee,k I will take one of those pieces and redeem it!
The background was done with stencils and stamping on hot press watercolor paper, and then primed with a mix of white and clear Liquitex gesso to create a barrier for the paper so I would use it with oils and add some tooth to the paper. I think Neocolor 2 crayons and gouache would be an excellent choice for this as well!
