I have used this set up several times now and it works great! Best of all I can carry everything in one bag weighing 11lbs! There are a lot of DIY tools in this video so I hope it inspires you to create a set up that works for you.

The brushes by Artify I showed are awesome, I have used them several times and they have the stiffness required for oils while also being synthetic and affordable. I have the ling handled set for easel work but they also have a short handled option that comes in a brush roll:

I used a pill box amzn.to/4x2sTyP with metal cell phone mounts amzn.to/4qnUY0U on the bottom to attach it to my easel with magnet clips. Then I added a felt pad to the lid of each compartment and a drop of clove oil to keep the paint from skinning over when not in use. This gave me 2 weeks of useable paint and I had the compartments open while I was painting (about 9 hours in hot sun and a couple hours indoors over the 2 week span. I think it would have lasted longer had a closed the box while I was painting outside but I wanted quick access to colors.
