Supplies (affiliate links used)
Watercolor paper (any that you want to use up, this was Strathmore 400 where the sizing had gone bad)
Inktense Blocks (or watercolor, waterered down acrylics, acrylic ink, anything that you can spread thinly on the paper) tidd.ly/4raNfCZ
Liquatex clear gesso tidd.ly/4pgmZ9Z (must be the clear Liquatex to work)
Taklon paint brushes (the kind used for acrylic painting) tidd.ly/4aAomdc
Soft pastels (I used a variety of brands in a variety of hardness, from hard NuPastel, you can use pastel pencils if you want, to softer brands) *Please refer to the photo "CC Painting with the Swatches" to assist you in pulling colors. tidd.ly/4ntRbNg This is the Faber Castel budget brand I recommend: tidd.ly/4tB0VZS and this is the Mungyo: tidd.ly/3O89XgI (amazon has a half stick set: amzn.to/464hoM1 )
