In the beginning, God created everything and declared it good, according to the creation story found at the beginning of Genesis. This famous passage is retold at the beginning of the Gospel of John, which identifies God’s Word as Christ who is “coming into the world.” The authors of the gospel go on to say that “God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.” This reverence expresses the inherent “Sacredness of Creation” — the second of nine Enduring Principles in our series. All creation, both the seen and the unseen, is connected, and we join with God as stewards of care and hope for all creation.

Beyond the Walls – Sacredness of Creation. We invite you to share this hour of reflection, prayer, meditation, music, and fellowship with the Beyond the Walls global community on 📅 Sunday, September 7, 2025. You can participate via live video as usual or join us in person at: 💒 320 Richmond Street East, Suite 101, Toronto, ON M5A 1P9.

We will share communion 🍞🍇 with all those participating live from around the world 🌏
