My friend picked up a kids 6V BMW Z4 electric car that someone had thrown out. She wanted to get it running for your grandkids. The car had several broken wires and a dead lead-acid battery. I got things working and designed an adapter for a Ryobi 18V One+ battery to use with a 6V Step-down DC-DC converter.
