I've been building several projects using my Ryobi 18V One+ batteries (USB chargers, regulated 13.8V supplies, solar chargers,...). Friends have commented that they would like a more powerful AC Pure Sine Wave Inverter that uses the Ryobi 18V or 40V batteries. That way they could use their vast collection of Ryobi batteries during a power outage to run computers, TV's, microwaves, freezers, and refrigerators. Other's would like to be able to run large power tools on a jobsite.
This project is my first attempt using eight 18V batteries and a 36V/3000W Pure Sine Wave Inverter.
