Part two of another scale modelling & weathering "How To" guide from http://www.scalewarmachines.com.
This time, we are looking at making rusty panels and plates, like you see with "Hill Billy" armour. We use the hairspray technique with a host of paints. We also use other techniques to make a machine gun pulpit for our Trumpeter 1/35th scale BR52 Kriegslok.
This is part 2 of 2.
The video features acrylics (Vallejo/Lifecolor/Tamiya) so if you like weathering and are looking to replicate rusty steel plates, this should be of use.
Enjoy.
