In this video I start kitting out the workshop with a product that is new to me, Shadow Foam Grey. It's a closed-cell foam which allows you to cut out shapes for your tools, giving everything its dedicated space in your drawers or on your walls.
I took advantage of a "Grey Friday" deal celebrating the launch of this new colour in their range back in November. You can also get other colours like red, blue, yellow, orange, teal etc. The upper surface colour is usually black and the colour denotes the lower layers and the shade of the space left.
It's easy to cut and to work and there is plenty of advice, including the sizes and depths available on the Shadow Foam website and You Tube channel.

In this video, I use the product to start getting my workshop uber-organised, beginning with a drawer for airbrushes.
I am very pleased with the product and can recommend it, it wasn't a sample, just a personal purchase making use of the offer in November 2024. I thought you might like to know all about it.

![CAN I MAKE MY OWN ULTIMATE TOOL ORGANISER?
Christmas is here, so I put some finishing touches to my workbench and make a bespoke tool organiser which will fit on my workbench. I design from scratch and make to my own exact specifications - showing you can do similar projects using a laser engraver or cutter like the Falcon A1 by Creality.
Thanks to Creality for supplying this for review.

Using the machine indoors? Use the CrealityAir Purifier to get rid of the whiff:

Transparency: samples provided by @FalconLaserOfficial, no money changed hands, editorial independence retained by me as creator.
What will you see?
Using Adobe Illustrator, I design a pull out tray and a bespoke tool organiser to halt the chaos and sit at my side on my workbench. This way, all my most frequently used tools will no longer be all over the place and stuffed in drawers, but at arms reach. At the end of the video, I make an acrylic sign and a small project for a scale model with some festive accessories.
In this third episode in my dream workshop series, I put the versatile Creality Falcon A1 laser cutter & engraver to good use - and it worked exactly as I hoped it would, with no end of possibilities ahead!
