This is a follow up video on a process that I tried around 6 months ago. The aim is to work out a way of preventing rust on steel and iron surfaces on workshop machinery.
It was based on a technique I saw on a video by Dan Gelbart. It involves cleaning steel surfaces and then spraying them with an alkaline water solution. In the original video I made, the results weren't as good as I was hoping for. This time I have modified the method to see if I can get a more consistent result.
It's fair to say, the results were sub optimal!
However, judge for yourself.
