We have a small Jayco 145RB trailer. We'd like to use the microwave to heat up snacks when we are traveling. Unfortunately the small trailer wasn't designed for a large battery bank and inverter. So this project shows how we made a small LiOn battery pack that is capable of supplying 160Amps and has 30Ah of capacity. It's enough to run a small 600watt microwave for about 15 minutes.

If you have the space and money, a couple of Battle Born Lithium Iron Phosphate battery are probably the best way to go. They aren't cheap... but have a 10 year warranty and can provide 2000+ cycles (compared to 250 for Lithium Ion)
