God describes our journey with Him, in the Bible, as a person running a race.
"The race" God speaks about is run simultaneously in three ways:
1. individually, as a son or daughter
2. collectively, as one the bride
3. and generationally, one generation imparting to the next
Our race is a journey that was never meant to be run alone.
The race, our journey with and to Christ, starts at the narrow path and leads us through treacherous terrain. No matter the trials, the falls, or the persecutions, the journey to the finish line is an exciting one, one that is overflowing with glory and designed to test the limits of our faith.
Our faith is a seed, and where we choose to sow that substance reveals the maturity of our understanding. And where there is understanding, faith, and wisdom multiples.
Every grain of wheat sown has the potential of becoming a wheat field, yielding a harvest that will multiply generation after generation.
1 kernel of wheat can produce up to 50 kernels.
Those 50 kernels sown, will produce 2,500.
When those kernels are sown, they'll produce 250,000.
And when 250,000 are sown, they'll produce approximately 6,250,000 kernels.
That's a 624 million percent return of investment.
