Finally made it to the UK! I took my wife and myself on a very-delayed honeymoon for a 9-day trip to all parts of England, a small piece of Wales, and eventually made it to Edinburgh, Scotland. Follow along to see what it these places are ACTUALLY like.
12th destination - Edinburgh, Scotland. We always wanted to run a 5K or half-marathon in a different country (read: we are just average runners) and our options were limited but we saw an opportunity on one of the last days of our UK trip and took it.
It was the MoRunning (Running for Men's Health in November) 5K race held near downtown.
It was a beautiful course on a cold morning day (which was perfect for running). Scotland is just beautiful. I wish we could have spent more time there, but unfortunately not this time.
During the video I showcase a school project that I did back in 6th grade of Elementary school where my school project was a country report of our choosing. I was always fascinated with Scotland (since my ancestry is from there too) and I included some pictures of that country report! Pretty nifty to think about in 6th grade that I was writing a report about this favorite country of mine and here I was...finally...here. Such a surreal moment.
