This is a punishing, yet rewarding hike with over 4000+ elevation in about 5 miles. It is not busy, for a reason. It is steep!
On our 3rd attempt, we were able to do this in June 2023. However, we didn't realize that a storm would be a brewin' that afternoon and a downpour it was! While rain doesn't necessarily mean you can't keep hiking up...lightning sure does!
