If you look really closely at a magic tree, you'll sometimes catch a random purple pixel mixed in with the yellow sparkles. Drop a magic log on the ground, and you'll spot one there too. And depending on how many magic logs you have in the bank, you might even see one there as well! It's all because the texture that makes those sparkles has two stray purple pixels baked into it. Nobody knows for certain why they’re there, but if it's anything like the Construction icon’s green pixel, it likely just has to do with how the game compresses images. Not the most useful thing you'll learn today. But you'll never unsee it.
