Run with me in the Vomero Plus. It’s the successor to the Invincible line, and it’s a Nike max cushion shoe that finally delivers on the promise of an all Zoom X thicc boi cruiser. The cushion is nice. There’s a pleasant snappiness to keep it from getting too mushy. And the zoom x helps with the weight (it’s not heavy, but it is the same weight as a Prime X3 - which may be more of a testament to that shoe than a knock on the Vomero Plus). It’s an excellent max cushion shoe.

As the successor to the Invincible though, I was hoping it would still retain the ability to do some faster miles in a long run, but I think they’ve tweaked the shoe for comfort at the expense of a bit of speed. Overall, it’s a compromise that makes sense until I remember that Nike also released a Peg Premium and a Vomero Premium this year
