In this video, Ill be showing you how to enable a hidden menu in Android Nougat that lets you customize the entire navigation bar on your Nexus device.
Youll need a custom recovery to try this one out, because youll need to flash a ZIP to enable the menu. Aside from that, though, you can reorder, remove, and add on-screen navigation buttons using this menu, so its a useful hack.

In this video, Ill be showing you a cool new Xposed module called Better Battery Saver that offers tons of different ways to save battery.
Theres a per-app battery-saver mode that you can activate in different ways, and you can even use this module to disable services and broadcast receivers. Then, theres an overall battery saver mode with extra options like full-time Doze, but be aware that root is required.

In this video, Ill be showing you two methods for installing a leaked copy of Googles brand new Nexus Launcher (now called Pixel Launcher). The first method works without root, and the second method uses a custom recovery.
This launcher is rumored to be released with the upcoming Nexus devices, but even though its supposed to be a Nexus-exclusive home screen app when its released, you can install it right now on many other devices.
You wont be able to get the integrated Google Now page on your home screen if you use the non-root method, but almost everything else works. With the flashable ZIP method, however, youll be able to choose from a bunch of new wallpapers in addition to the functional Google Now page.

In this video, Ill be showing you how to tweak the interface of any Samsung Galaxy device using a first-party app called Good Lock. This doesnt require root or any special permissions, but you will need to be running the stock firmware on your Galaxy and youll need to have Android 6.0 Marshmallow or higher installed.
Good Lock is more than just a lock screen app, it actually replaces your devices SystemUI APK, which is basically the heart of Android. With this one installed, you can change accent colors, launch apps directly from your lock screen, tweak the recent apps menu, and even set up location- and time-based profiles.

In this video, Ill be showing you a cool new app from Flar2 called Button Mapper that lets you remap hardware buttons without root.
This doesnt work with the power button or on-screen navigation keys, but all other hardware buttons are fair game, including capacitive keys. With this simple app, you can assign custom functions to any of your buttons, or use them to launch apps and shortcuts. Theres even a long-press action that can be assigned, so you can leave your original button function intact, then add a secondary function.

With this app installed, you can simply take a picture of any sign or document, then it will scan the image for every word it can find. Once thats done, youll be able to search the document for any instances of a word, and you can even export the image as a searchable PDF.
