In 2025 everyone wants wide tyres. So much so that models with lower tyre clearance are seeing massive price reductions. Gravel bikes are now road bikes, just add slick tyres and road pedals. The question is, do these fat tyre road bikes handle like we imagined or are they just sluggish on the hills and slow in the wind. We look at the Time ADH, ADHX and ADHX 45 as examples as how we have transitioned from gravel to road. Our thirst for wide wheels seems to balance with our appetite for lightweight.
