Last upload you heard me using my lower register (attempt genderbend-ish), now we're going back to what I was first known for as a vocalist: soft, cuter toned vocals. Although in this cover I aimed for a more soft, airy, whispery, hints of a mature tone mixed with innocence type of vocals. (So there's more focus on the main vocals/lyrics and the slight harmony & adlibs are towards the end of the song) To me, it's the type of tone makes you feel like you're surrounded by the first wintry snowfall.
This is a pretty personal song to me.
I first discovered the song around four years ago by an admired artist (and singer-hobbyist) named Hikki who had covered it. And then a couple weeks ago, I came across Cherry's beautiful cover of it and saw that the song was used in the film "The Suicide Room". So after watching that movie, the song just touched me and connected with me more, and after all these internal conflicts and talks between close friends, I decided to release a piece of myself into this cover.
All of my personal creations from covers to original pieces to fan-fiction stories are like diary/journal entries for me, so if you've noticed that I've got an assortment of works up, it's because of that reason.
