After getting some requests to notate this song (because I made the mistake of not notating it while I was learned it before!), I decided to go back and do it for more music training/practice. Doing that was... equally as challenging as learning the song the first time haha, especially since I picked up on notes I missed last time; I had even missed an entire counterpoint line during the piano solo because it was hidden in there xD so this sheet music will stick to the original song by MuryokuP. It is slightly different than the version in this upload (so if two amazing pianists ever want to try this out... hahaha) Meters and rhythm were sort of difficult to figure out too but I tried to make it as friendly and easy on the eyes as possible so hope this helps! Please forgive the mishap of ties from measure 84 - 86 and 94 - 95. They turned into bird wings because finale was being dumb haha. They are ties!

Due to the complexity and all the instrumental lines, I decided to make it for two pianos, because there's really no other way to perform this otherwise. If you are playing solo, you can take the prominent instrumental lines and figure that out since all the notes are already referenced. The music sheets do not include the melody & harmony vocal lines; it is just the instrumental. But if you would like that notated, let me know (they should be pretty easy to figure out in any case). Down below I have provided links to the piano scores as well as midi if you want to use synthesia or something of the sort to help learn if you are interested!~ Enjoy!

Moving along, I've covered the full song of 'If' sung by Megurine Luka and originally composed by MuryokuP. This was actually the first Vocaloid song that I heard and it got me into Vocaloid. The one I heard was covered by ENE so check out hers when you can (:

Everything was learned by ear and recorded on multiple tracks. I wanted to hear the different instrument parts and play them on piano, so there is going to be a lot of piano everywhere and is definitely not possible to play through with just two hands, maybe. I did try to stick to the original, one reason being that I wanted to learn the composer's style and how he arranged his piano parts. They can be really fast! But beautiful! I did add some of my own piano notes to support sections of the song that sounded a bit empty otherwise. Another reason I stuck to the original is for some more advanced ear training. I wanted a challenge. Haha. I'll admit, there were so many times when I just wanted to give up or upload just the small parts I had learned, but I managed to pull through and finish it. So don't give up on difficult projects!~

I know you all probably want to see me playing the piano but, not this time. There were too many attempts of me struggling and raging xD So you get a pretty picture to stare at instead ;D I know it's not perfect, but it is difficult at times and I gave it my best.
