The Royal Windsor Steam Express was a special leisure themed excursion service that ran between London Waterloo and Windsor & Eton Riverside stations.
It operated three times a day, Tuesdays only, in summer 2019.
Passengers were carried when travelling from London to Windsor, and in that direction of travel the train was hauled by a steam locomotive.
Return journeys did not carry passengers as this gave the train crew time to clean the train and prepare for the next journey. When travelling towards London the train was hauled by a diesel locomotive.
