The Royal Domain of Drottningholm is a fascinating UNESCO World Heritage Site just outside of Stockholm in southern Sweden. It's a large royal palace and garden complex dating to the 17th century, and is still actively used as the main residence for the Swedish king and queen! There's loads of great stuff to see here, from the palace itself, to the manicured French baroque gardens, to an incredible couple of follies further out in the park.
