Max torque 1480 lb ft, and an impressive 650 lb ft at 400 rpm. Various things happening here at the top end, sparks coming from the starter pinion due to the flexplate oscillating (no torque converter fitted), cam sync playing up again right at the top end, again possibly due to vibration, causing the backfires. FuelTech has a function to counter this whereby it only reads the cam sync sensor for the first few revolutuons, so will set that up next.
