You have left Littleroot Town. Your chosen Pokémon is by your side, but it is still a stranger to you. You feel alone...
A trail through the grass lies before you. It's raining lightly, but it shows no sign of stopping. The tropical trees sway restlessly in the warm wind, and a thick blanket of dark clouds loom over your head. Could this weather be a bad omen; is this journey the right thing to do?
As you continue forth, struggling not to look back at your home town fading away into the past, you feel a determination spreading through your body, reaching every limb and muscle, reaching your heart. Rain caresses your face as you feel your feet marching through the grasses, striding further down the trail of the unknown.
You turn to your chosen companion, and see the determination in its eyes too. A bond of trust and faith is already forming, and you both feel it. You know that this journey is the right thing to do.
You venture further down Route 101, deeper into Hoenn, knowing you will be champion one day...
